Mettler Toledo FP90 Central Processor and Measuring Cell for FP900 Thermosystem

AdID: 14408

Availability: In stock

Power Tested Mettler Toledo FP90 Central Processor
Compatible with all measuring Cells of the FP800 System
This processor is used to communicate and control the FP900 Thermosystem. During initial testing, the technician discovered the measuring cell is bad and was receiving an “Error 3” code during the self-testing.

It would make a good system for a lab that may already have some measuring cells that could be used. The cell is still included in this system and can be used for parts or if a person was knowledgeable in them possibly for repair.
Includes a 90-Day Warranty for your protection
We realize that buying a second-hand instrument can be unnerving, therefore we offer a 90-Day Warranty to protect you against any equipment failure or defects.

The 90-day warranty is only on the processor, as we stated the cell is non-working.

Technical Notes:
Power tested only. Upon start-up, we get an occasional error to check the configuration. Turning off and back on usually does away with this and then it starts the self-test where it fails with an “error 3” which would be a problem with the cell.

The manual suggests checking the connector pins on the cell, which we did; they seem to be in good condition. This leads us to believe it is a bad cell.
No further testing could be done after that point.
